In this section you can find out all about the different types of routes, which bus you need to catch and how long it will take.  You can also download our full network map, or any number of individual route maps and timetables.

Routes are divided into the following categories:

Mainline routes
All these routes are colour coded and serve main towns, finishing in Valletta.

Direct routes
These serve towns and villages throughout Malta directly, without the need to travel to Valletta.

Night buses
Night buses mainly run from San Ġiljan (St Julian's)/Paceville to various locations in Malta.

Airport / Ċirkewwa Express
There are four airport express services serving several major towns.

Park and Ride
There are three Park and Ride sites, all with connecting bus routes.

Gozo
There are 10 bus routes in Gozo, serving all main locations on the island.

Mater Dei / University routes
There are various ways to arrive to Mater Dei or University.
