Service diversions until further notice:
1. Rebuilding of the Triq il-Kunsill tal-Ewropa near ĦalLuqa
Between the Airport and Paola: these routes will operate via Dawret il-Gudja and Triq il-Gudja before rejoining Triq il-Kunsill tal-Ewropa. No bus stops are affected.
Between Paola and the Airport:these routes will operate via Triq Bir id-Deheb, Triq Ħal Tarxien and Dawret il-Gudja. No bus stops are affected.
Between the Airport and Paola:this route will operate via Dawret il-Gudja and Triq il-Gudja before rejoining Triq il-Kunsill tal-Ewropa. Bus Stop 0320 AVJAZZJONI will not be served. An alternative bus stop for customers will be Bus Stop 1640 SANTA MARIJA located on Dawret Il-Gudja.
Between Paola and the Airport: this route will operate via Triq Bir id-Deheb, Triq Ħal Tarxien and Dawret il-Gudja. Bus Stop 1677 INEZ and Bus Stop 1678 PEPRIN will be suspended, a temporary bus stop will be located by the pedestrian crossingon Triq Bir id-Deheb.
2. Rebuilding of Triq il-Marfa between Ċirkewwa and Għadira Bay
Towards the Ajruport the route will divert via the one way traffic system established via Triq Ta' Msid. No stops are affected. Towards Ċirkewwa the route will continue to use the existing route. No stops are affected.
Towards Mellieha the services will divert via the one-way traffic system established via Triq Ta' Msid. Bus stops 0994 AĦRAX and 0995 QAMMIEĦ are suspended, a temporary stop QAMMIEĦ will be established just before the diversion rejoins the main road. Towards Ċirkewwa the routes will continue to use the existing route. No stops are affected.
3. Rebuilding of Triq Imġarr from Tal-Ħniena to Victoria Phase 1
Towards Victoria the route will divert via Triq San Bert, Pjazza San Ġwann Batista and Triq l-Indipendenzato the traffic lights at Xewkija. Bus stops 1784 ĦNIENA, 1785 BARMIL, 1786 UNIVERSITA' and 1787 INDUSTRIJALI will be suspended. Temporary stops will be established at: ĦNIENA in Triq San Bert, XEWKIJA in Pjazza San Ġwann il-Battista and XEWKIJA at the traffic lights. The route will continue along Triq il-Madonnatar-Rummiena and then Triq Ta' Ħamet into Victoria. Bus stops 1757 BICCERIJA and 1758 GĦONQ are suspended.
Towards L-Imgarr the route will operate via Triq Ta' Ħamet and Triq il-Madonna tar-Rummiena to Xewkija traffic lights. Bus stops 1717 BIĊĊERIJA and 1718 XEWKIJA are suspended, a temporary stop will be established at Xewkija traffic lights. The route will continue via Triq Indipendenza, Pjazza san Ġwann il-Batista and Triq San Bert to Tal-Ħniena. Bus stops 1767 INDUSTRIJALI, 1768 UNIVERSITA', 1769 BARMIL, 1770 ĦNIENA will be suspended. Temporary stops will be established at XEWKIJA in Pjazza San Gwann Batista, at ĦNIENA in Triq San Bert.
4. Rebuilding of Valletta Waterfront Road
Route 122 anticlockwise, this route cannot pass along Xatt l-Għassara tal-Għeneb during the reconstruction works. After serving the stop 2354 BRAKEN it then diverts via 2470 SPENCER and from Flagstone Wharf (Il-Moll taċ-Ċangaturi)joins the Triq Nazzjonali, turns back in the one way system at Blata l-Bajda to pass through Triq Sant' Anna, Triq San Franġisk, It-Telgħa tal-Kurċifiss, then travelling along Triq Pinto to serve stops 2376 WATERFRONT and 2377 PINTO turning and returning to normal route from stop 2388 KURĊIFISS.
5. Valletta Sunday Market
Route 130, this route cannot pass along Flagstone Wharf (Il-Moll taċ-Ċangaturi)on leaving Floriana Park and Ride Zone 3 due to the presence of the Sunday Market from service start until 1600hrs. The route will turn left and enter the Triq Nazzonjali, making a reverse turn using the one-way system at Blata L-Bajda and rejoining the normal route at Triq Sant' Anna. Bus Stops 2435 and 2440 P&R ZONE 2 are suspended for this period.
6. Marsaxlokk Sunday Market
Route 81, this route cannot pass along Xatt is-Sajjieda from start of service until 1600hrs due to the encroachment of the Sunday Market stalls. The route from Valletta will divert at Bir id-Deheb traffic lights taking Triq Għar Dalam towards Birżebbuġa. It will operate non-stop via St. George's Bay and Torri San Luċjan into Marsaxlokk rejoining the normal route at Triq il-Kavallerizza.
This means that the following bus stops are not served in the outbound direction:
