Arriva Malta helped the organisers of the Annual Penitential Pilgramage, organised in aid of the Puttinu Cares organisation. Arriva helped with the transport needs incurred as part of the Penitentiary Walk. This is a walk from Mellieha to l-Isla organised on the night of Good Friday.

Ħal Millieri, Limits of Zurrieq and Mqabba

This chapel is situated in the old village of Casal Millieri, which lies between Zurrieq, Qrendi, Mqabba and Kirkop. This village was first documented in 1419 and its origins date back to Roman and possibly pre-historic times.

Arriva joined forces with its Maltese partner Tumas Group on an activity organised for 11th Corporate Social Responsibility Day held on March 19. Employees from the various Tumas Group companies carried out works at the Male’s Ward 3A at Mount Carmel Hospital, a unit for men who are suffering from psychiatric, psychological and emotional problems.

The Malta Amateur Wrestling Federation together with Arriva Malta launched the Arriva Malta International Freestyle Wrestling Tournament, an event that brought back to our country the excitements and opportunities offered by an international tournament, after a lapse of seven years.

Arriva launched its Road Safety Campaign for the month of December. The campaign was developed with the help and collaboration of the Malta Police Force, and was built on the foundations laid through Arriva’s first internal Health and Safety Campaign (launched a month earlier in November).
