Bus stops
All our bus stops feature colour-coded route numbers, in the form of tiles that are added to the bus stop sign (see photo), to make it easy for you to identify which routes depart from which stop. For example, all mainline routes to Valletta feature the same colours that are on the buses themselves.
There will also be up to three timetable displays at each stop, telling you what time the buses depart from that location.
Interchanges:
Across Malta and Gozo there are a series of interchanges - bus stops that have a number of routes serving them - where you can catch another bus to your final destination if you need to.
Interchanges form a key part of Malta's new network. These bus stops are served by a number of routes and act as key connecting points for any additional journeys you might need to take to reach your final destination.
Some interchanges will have Arriva staff at hand, who will be able to direct you where you need to go.
