Arriva Saver CardAre you a regular bus user with an official Malta Identity Card or a Registration Certificate/Residence Card (for EU citizens and their family members) or a Long-Term Residence Permit, all issued by the Government of Malta? If so, you can access excellent value travel by applying for an Arriva Saver Card.

The Arriva Saver ticket is a card which you can load with travel credit.  You can then travel cash-free, meaning you can board quickly without having to carry coins with you. As well as being more convenient, the 30 day and 90 day top-up options usually cost significantly less when compared to 2-hour, Day or 7 Day tickets. The 7 day ticket is now also available on the saver card.

Please send your completed application form to enquiries@arriva.com.mt or by mailing it to Arriva Malta Ltd, Triq l-Imdina, Ħal Qormi QRM 9010. Once your application is recieved the Saver card will be send within 15 working days. 

Application of the saver card is FREE of charge.

How to use your Saver Card:

Once you've received your Saver Card, you can top it up with either 7, 30 or 90 days travel. Once the credit has been added, simply scan the card to the reader next time you board the bus to activate it.

Ticket machines
There are 29 permanent ticket machines located at bus stations and interchanges across Malta and Gozo.

Arriva ticket offices
You can top-up at Arriva's ticket offices, which are located at Valletta bus station, Buġibba bus station and Malta International Airport.

Arriva Customer Care
You can also top-up your Arriva Saver Card with 7, 30 and 90 days' travel by calling the Arriva Customer Care centre on 21 22 2000.

Please note, the Arriva Saver Card can be used in Malta only - unless when applying the customer can produce a relevant and official Malta Identity Card or a Registration Certificate/Residence Card (for EU citizens and their family members) or a Long-Term Residence Permit, all issued by the Government of Malta, with a Gozo address, in which case they can also use their Saver Card for travel in Gozo.

Student Saver Card

Students can also apply for a Saver Card and access even better value bus travel.

If you are between 11 and 16 years of age, or can provide evidence that you are enrolled in a full time course lasting at least three months with an educational institution registered with the Ministry responsible for education in Malta, you are entitled to apply for a Student Saver Card.

The Arriva Student Saver ticket works exactly the same way as a standard Saver Card, only top-up fees are even better value!
